Vision of APH Convention
Vision of APH Convention
Building on the strong legacy of EAPB, the African Pharma, Biotech and Health Supplies Convention (APH), will continue to be hosted in Rwanda and represents a strategic expansion of the platform’s original mandate. The 2026 edition positions APH as a continental forum engaging all African regions to strengthen manufacturing capabilities, human capital, innovation ecosystems, regulatory and policy frameworks, and access to capital across the pharmaceutical and biotech value chain. Through focused technical dialogue, partnership building, and actionable pathways for industrial growth, APH now serves as an African convergence platform addressing shared priorities in pharmaceutical, vaccine, medical device, and diagnostics manufacturing. By convening policymakers, regulators, manufacturers, scientists, investors, and development partners, APH supports Africa’s journey toward health security, industrial transformation, and innovation-led growth, catalyzing the partnerships and structural reforms needed to build a resilient, competitive, and regionally integrated pharmaceutical and biotech ecosystem.
